Don't forget! In less than two hours (if I hurry up with this post) you can get to the ferry dock to help with cleaning the beachfront there, or go over to the theater by the airport and clean up there. Either way, it's a win-win for you and for Culebra.
In the interests of time (since I'm running way, waywayway late, or just way late), I'm going to give you posey instead of prosey this morning. This is a few days worth of wandering...

This was Valentine's Day and who did I run across but Culebra's own Cupid? The years she was gone it just wasn't the same. I'm very glad she's back! |

And this is just his every day wear! |

The group of older Culebrense folk brought their activities to the plaza the other day. It was a gorgeous morning and this woman matched it well. |

I'm so happy I got to see one of my favorite winter couples here last evening. Welcome back, you two. Beautiful as ever and well worth coming to town for! |
|
Also well worth coming to town for was seeing Mary, beautiful as ever, we don't care what you say! Have a safe trip home and come back soon! |

The Dougs and Mariel were joined by a wonderful slide guitar played by Eddy. Nice work! |

Where ever you are today, if you see trash where it doesn't belong, put it where it does belong. This planet is the only one we've got, so if someone is falling down in doing their own clean up, you go right ahead. Somewhere, you are falling down on the job and someone is picking up your slack, it's just a return of the favor.
Have a set it straight Saturday! Do something unselfishly.

ReplyDeleteAs soon as I get down there, I'll be sure to let you know if you missed anything.*ducking* Seriously, thank you to all who do this, today, and let us all resolve each day to keep the beaches as beautiful as mother nature created them. It's such an easy thing to do when you do it every time
DeleteI haven't heard a report on the theater work but the beach clean-up to the right of the ferry dock went well, netting a few big bags of trash among quite a few. There was also cleaning going on up the clinic/modular hill and I heard it was pretty bad up there. Yes, if every single person took it upon themselves to make sure a)their own trash was properly thrown away and b)help pick up after those too lazy and selfish to do it themselves, it'd be a lot more beautiful island and world.
