seen.
We couldn't enjoy its loveliness any more
if we had millions of dollars
and ropes of diamonds.”

You wouldn't believe it but the sky and the snowfields of Vermont look just like this, just as beautiful, and the moon is almost halfway up the sky in the east and it is a half moon and gauzy and gigantic. Look. Tell me if you see it in the same place. Better, send me a photo.
ReplyDeleteI can't see the moon right now, too much cloud cover. But it sounds beautiful!
DeleteThis picture looks like it was taken from very high, like on a mountain.
ReplyDelete@ Sharon, sorry, I am sure the snowfields don't look like Caribbean seawater.
Here, the moon is almost perfectly overhead at it's highest point, (I was marveling over it last night) There, I imagine the highest point would be about 20 0r 30 degrees away from overhead.
Nope, it was taken from a relatively low hill! And I don't think you can say what something looks like to someone, I've seen it look like it was going to snow here!
ReplyDeleteIs that my Happy island Vieques in the back ground ?
ReplyDeleteYou got it in one! That's Vieques.
