Pictoral to end out the Maine section!

And no herons involved...promise, Gulls, yes. Hey, I'm incorrigible, shoot me!

This is Phil's favorite Japanese restaurant in Portland (Maine, yes). Now I know why!

The bento box lunch, 9 bucks! with incredible miso soup too..

And now to the soul food portion of our show...this is, once again, at Ocean Point. And no, it's not photoshopped, it's what my camera saw (except where I toned it down a little on a couple of the sunset shots because it was ridiculously violently colored!)

You'd think after all the wonderful food above we'd be full but it was
hours later and who isn't hungry for bries and peapods and wine?

Sneaky French Man!

I turn my back for one day of travel and next thing I know Gaston is looking to come visiting. The only thing good I know about a storm headed straight to us is that it usually moves. So I'm counting on that.

I'm in a sort of flukey computer situation at present (sitting in my daughter's car using her air card on my battery getting low laptop while she works on a real estate deal inside) so I'm just putting up here what is most important rather than what is most fun...like my grandchildren Sloane and Grayson whom I am sure you will be tired of enamored with before I head West again! I can simply say, they have both made me laugh a LOT in a short time, and don't mind being squished. How lucky am I?

More anon.

Hello September!

It's September first, so I must be flying to Kansas today to spend a couple of weeks my grandchildren...yep and the parents too. Oh yes!

Getting ready and getting skyward is taking up my mind and time so you'll have to find something else to occupy your five minutes spent here over coffee. I know that you can! Just make it something good.

Have a wonder full Wednesday! Do something wending (just remember the destination).
