Simple Sunday ~ Amazing

Every once in a while I run across this poem my son wrote when he was 8. It keeps me amazed.

  2. The phrasing is a bit contrived. Subtle cow? Subtle how? smh ;)

    1. Contrived? He was 8 years old. Later years, he was questioning that himself and not so happy about it, but at 8? I was delighted he knew the word subtle and if you ever saw a cow chewing its cud, maybe you'd get a kid mind. How embarrassing for you that you called an 8 year old's poem contrived. Oh, and it wasn't his penmanship, that was an adult, who thought it was a great poem and did that for me. Are you kidding me?

    2. Of course, if you are a friend of mine being amusing, I'll only rip one layer of skin off. I am the Mama.

  5. I hope the other Anonymous wasn't trying to be a total asshole on purpose. We have enough cowards in this world. As for the penmanship, the adult who did this probably is an awesome, yet flawed guy. ("He said, not so subtly...") ;)

    1. Shawke, the opposite happens with me with rudeness, it just walks me into the fired up place. Love carries all of us higher, thank you!
