Culebra Randomness part XVII

The sargassum has returned - again - to one of the beaches where I like to watch pelicans, but there is still plenty going on for visual entertainment. Of course, I'm pretty easily entertained. That's a good thing.

I'm not sure what is going on with the sargasso hitting us so heavily for the fourth time in as many weeks. Apparently these unusual amounts of it are happening on Atlantic coasts from the Caribbean to Massachusetts and no one knows exactly why. Ah mysteries!

But there are more than chickens in this basket, to badly paraphrase a cliche.

Yesterday there was an amazing cloud in the east, reflecting the setting sun.

And then came night.

Have a trusting Thursday. Do something tantamount.

  1. Amazing cloud. I took a photo of a similar cloud at the lake this summer that looked like the profile of Lincoln. This looks like Zeus or Moses or lots of those old guys...

  2. I'm getting homesick. Cold weather coming.

    1. Stay warm, we'll hold the good weather for you!
