Free Range Friday Special - A Tale of Two Dogs

Max and Patge have been through a lot in their short time on the planet, but they are ready to meet their forever folks now, healthy and happy. I'll let Teresa - who is an abandoned dog's (or cat's) dream come true in a foster 'mom' - tell you about them, since she knows them best.

First up, Max!

At 3 yrs of age, 20 pounds, and full of spunk, Max is the friendliest and sweetest dog you could ever hope to meet. He is neutered, housebroken, on heartworm preventative, and ready to give lots of love to some lucky person or family.

Great with kids and other dogs but not cats. This energetic guy would be perfect for someone who wants a running companion.  He needs a fenced in yard because he loves to run, but also is very content to snuggle next to you inside the house! A wonderful pet and loyal friend for some lucky person.

And now, here's Patge -

This great dog is pure sweetness and loves to play with other dogs. She is 7 months old and was raised in a country setting household with 6 other dogs, so would do best in a home with a couple of dogs already in the family.

She is a very loving and affectionate girl, although she can be quite shy at first. A good game of fetch is high on her list of favorites, and she would be a great addition to a dog loving family. She is spayed, on heartworm prevention, and weighs 40 pounds.

Please contact foster, Teresa, at teresatallevast@gmail.com for information about how to adopt these dogs into your life.

Have a feel free to foster or adopt Friday! Do something forever homeish.

  1. *Phew!* I have to admit, when I read the headline, I had a bit of a Chinatown flashback. Relieved to be wrong. Sharing on Facebook.

    1. I thought later maybe I should have said this was NOT to be considered a food post...

  2. I soooo hope these beautiful dogs find a loving home. I haven't been able to get Max out of my thoughts since I first saw a picture of him a few weeks ago. Alas, my husband says we cannot add to our pet family. We already have two rescue dogs and that seems to be the limit. All I can offer AWC at this point and time is monetary help. It breaks my heart.

    1. Karen, thank you for the rescues you have made! So often it is the people who have already opened their hearts and homes and wallets who want to give more, maybe it will be a little contagious for those hesitating on the edge, wondering if this is the 'right time'. Much appreciation for your comment and your actions! Let's vibe them to their homes soon!
