Happy October the Beginning!

I was wandering through some old October 1 photos, because even in the tropics October is a time of changing seasons and pulls on the nostalgic in me. In an afternoon swim yesterday the water was incrementally cooler, a reminder of those days ahead when northern folk think it is warm and we are shivering.

A Portland, Oregon harvest

Another October in Portland

The birds up north are flying south, along with our awaited influx of old winter friends and new visitors. Leaves fall, here and in colder climes, but blossoms follow here. The sky gets more blue, the sea reflects. Round and round, it is October again, and in accordance with sowing and reaping, here's a little musical reminder.

Have a perfect Wednesday. Do something winningly.
