Comings and Goings and Coming

Yesterday, we picked up Ann from the airport (returned, as they used to say, from her trip abroad visiting Karen in England, where a leisurely trip down the Thames was greatly enjoyed, along with a visit to Johanna in Switzerland. Upon her return to the US, she enjoyed aa lengthy stateside visit to family and friends; arriving in the Culebra VIP lounge wearing a modern ensemble of denim slacks and a lovely blouse of many colors) and made a beeline for Dinghy Dock, where welcome home's abounded. The usual suspects were in attendance, with the really nice addition of Cheryl, back for a visit and ready to share her sweet voice with us in tandem with Grady.

Great to see and hear you, Cheryl!
Pan, who is leaving for ports and parts far on the other side of the world, was also there. We wish you (all) a safe trip, amigo, fair winds and following seas!

If you haven't checked out the weather lately, like in the last hour or so, you will find when you do that TS Rafael has inched a bit closer to us trackwise, expected to come within 20 miles of Culebra according to the current models and arriving sometime very early Sunday morning. So there is plenty of time to see what is to be seen to! The estimates on wind are pretty divergent, as is rain expectation, but at the moment it seems like it would be a good idea to have your laundry off the line and your cocktail glasses off any outside furniture.

Have a safekeeping Saturday. Do something shatterproof!
