The Countdown is ON! How's that Sangria Tasting Sense Coming Along?

This Friday, November 7th, is the Annual Sangria Showdown to benefit Animal Welfare of Culebra. While our critters homed and unhomed most likely don't care for sangria, the money the Showdown raises will go to their good health and happy hearts. That's enough to raise a few glasses in support and celebration. The things we do for love of the animals, oh yes we do.

If you don't care for sangria, you might like some swag!
Patty Pulliam - who, with husband Serge, will once more come down from New York bearing delicious home grown and home made food gifts for the festivities - sent me this notice to share:

The AWC Sangria FUNdraiser is almost here! It will be the 2nd Animal Welfare of Culebra Sangria Showdown!

On Friday November the 7th, starting at 5:30, at the Library Deck, where we have a wild array of Sangrias to judge & enjoy, a huge table of tantalizing Tapas, some imported delicacies, lots of homegrown yummies, lots of deliciousness, lots of prizes, lots of local Music as we have Mariel & the Dougs Plus Son

It is all about supporting the Animal Welfare of Culebra and all of the amazing work done by a very few, doing very important work for all that enjoy Culebra.

So please come out and join the festivities and if you are not able, please consider donating to the work.
