Mysteries

Today's post is brought to you by the letter M for mysterious moments. One mystery (to me) is solved; the fruit in the photo from yesterday's post is a Noni. And it is NOT yummy (I thought it was something else, not the one with a nickname of vomit fruit). Thanks, Joyce and Teresa! And now onto the remaining mysteries.

First, the easy one. Can you find the iguana crossing the cable that goes over the canal? Thanks, Sue V, for pointing him out!

Well, of course you can! Sheesh, it's not like I think y'all don't know an iguana from a palm tree!

Next mystery is better. In fact, it is so good that I'm willing to wager that wagers will be made on it.

What do you think this man is doing? Give me your best guesses!

Think impossible thoughts. If no one guesses correctly, I'll tell you. You won't believe it...(there, if that's not enough hints, I give up).

  2. He is measuring the width of the bridge to see if they can get a big-ass, wide load truck off the ferry and over the bridge to the sorry-ass development down the road from the cart? Because surely it couldn't have anything to do with measuring something to enable the bridge to actually work.

I really am afraid of what he's doing. :-(

Hi MJ. It's Dave on Doodlemon from Fat Hogs Bay on Tortola, BVI. The guy is using a measuring tape to figure out materials for a new bridge over the canal! Sure, what a dreamer, huh?

  4. Looks like he's laying down cable or measuring for something on the bridge?

  5. well he's got a very long measuring tape, one usually used for landscaping. But he doesn't seem to have very much pulled out, so is he measuring something very small? It's been a while since I've been back to Culebra, is he standing near something that will give us a clue?!

  6. Keith said he is measuring something to be fixed on the bridge. I say if it is something we won't believe, then he is measuring for a NEW DRAW BRIDGE!!!!

  10. Just got most of the above comments in my email...don't know what held them up but you all are as optimistic as you are creative thinkers. Yep!! That's what he was doing!
