Well, the answers came in, and English Karen was the first, with Nancy the second...he's measuring the bridge for the REPAIR!! His company has the contract, the work supposedly will start next month and take a couple of months. They are going to do the whole shebang, even hoping to get the weights back in order so the bridge can go up and down. Which won't do much since the sewer pipeline is in the way of anything taller than the bridge base...but the manager of Posada la Hamaca and I will not let that stop us from playing bridgekeepers! We'll try to keep the toll reasonable, really (that's a joke, but you can start that rumor if you like)
No more home fixes, bless 'em!
Yes, it will be noisy, but this is a noise with an actual reality behind it that will be finished (spot the very optimistic tone here). Let's see what happens next.
