Happy Groundhog's Day!

Luckily, we do not have any groundhog's needing homes, but we do have dogs and cats! The good work that the Animal Welfare of Culebra folk do isn't free however, and raising money to get these animals neutered, fed, flown to the States etc. is an ongoing situation. But this is not a plea for money, this is about FUN!!

If you have gone to the yearly auction for the AWC, you know it's a good time. If you haven't, it's well worth coming out for. You can get some good items, have fun and help a fantastic cause at the same time! You could even call in a bid if you can't be here (hey, it's a thought; don't beat me for that, Raquel).

Also! Tomorrow and Friday night
Abbie's school kids are putting on the play Oliver! at the Library (go past Milka's, take the road to the left across from the boat yard). Having seen this play done by the kids 4 or 5 years ago, I'm really looking forward to seeing the next production. The kids are really, REALLY good, and there are usually some great funny moments.
Unlike many places, these productions bring out the whole community, not just parents of the kids, so show up, help out the school and enjoy a fun evening out on Culebra!
