Happy Birthday, Francie!

Yesterday was work and play. Hmmm. Seems this is not something real unusual around here. But the theme was Francie's birthday and, as also seems to happen around here, lack of planning doesn't prevent events working out just fine. Or finer.

Not that we're against plans, mind you. Some come in handy, yes they do!

For instance, knowing we were celebrating a birthday, we actually planned a bit and ate something first, because we are old and there are deep penalties when this is forgotten. Fresh wahoo ceviche, pork belly and wahoo tacos. Thanks for the yum, Zach (Zaco's Tacos)

This rooster definitely had a plan. He spied something across the street, marshalled up his hens and made for his immediate destination.

 "Let's go, girls!"

"Mmmm, good! Uh, anyone beside me feel like we're being watched?"

Down at Dinghy Dock, the tree was being decorated for the third time. And it was the charm.

Perez was enlisted to put those hook things on the decorations

 Benjamin came by with...is that...

Yes, it is! His goat, Pepe.

 Francie, the birthday girl

A beautiful moon rise over the bay suggested it was time for me to go

Far surpassing the 5 times Neil says Happy Birthday must be sung to you at Dinghy Dock (or you ain't nobody), we were actually still almost in tune by the last rendition. I'm giving credit to the tacos and ceviche. Maybe older does get a little wiser. Sometimes. Thanks, Francie, for being born, so we had another excuse for a celebration!

Have a bigger than tiny Tuesday! Do something temperate.
